[Kernel-meetup] study of typing latency

Hi,

This study[1] breaks down the latency in typing (and resulting
characters showing up on the screen) into its components parts across
HW and SW layers.

This is very similar to the breakdown on caching that I was pondering
about at the last meetup. Funny timing.
